The Housexy team kick off the New Year in typically glam style as they release their sixth, and sultriest, album – Housexy International. Bringing together tracks that have graced the dancefloors of Housexy residencies from South Africa to Sao Paulo, Bogota to Bahrain, this is a collection that celebrates the continuing global love of sexy, vocal house. kAk+Sq^n
Mixed by Richard Murray, this mix kicks off with the piano-laden strains of Tyken feat Awa's 'Every Word' and journeys through Mark Wilkinson's noughties makeover of Inner City's classic 'Pennies From Heaven', towards the bongo-buoyed vocals of 'Some Day' by Jean Claude Ades. The Ruff Mix of 'Deeper Love' adds a tougher edge to things, backed up by Shena's appropriately monikered 'Electrosexual', before Swedish house don Eric Prydz' shows them how it's done with the massive 'Proper Education' - and if it's good enough Pink Floyd, who are we to argue. `c_Wk]i
