62%. ddM4 intelligent and catchy songs. "I Think I'm Bleeding" has an
sP5PYNspA underlying country flavour to it. Whilst once again presented
R$(,~~MH as a happy little song, there is more than a touch of
5H==m~ bitterness in his words. Funnily enough, the rather twee "The
8Z/P<u Toothbrush Song" would also make a quality country song due to
7Y @ && its dry lyrics even if a cowboy would feel the need to
athU accompany such emotions with bourbon rather than sparkling
< 8r%_ '] mineral water.
2}I1z_dq~ =wU08} The pace picks up with the title track "Off the Radar" that
nd_d tsp# truly highlights Mr Kerr's pop sensibilities and offsets his
GR O[&;d` laidback vocal delivery with some spirited guitar. Loves lost
XkuNLs4 and won (mostly lost though? and a sense of reflection on his
im%'S6_X4 younger years seem a common theme to the songs in this album
Thw E1M and, indeed, regret is once more evident in "Is It Too Late to
4\ H;A Work for NASA" even if it is disguised here with wry humour.

}LDDm/$^} kind of offense. Maybe he never gets angry himself - although
DDc?G Y: his words suggest otherwise -but Bluesbunny feels that he is
~naL1o_FZ doing his own songs a disservice here by sprinkling an inch of
];B h1 icing sugar on everything. It is not necessary for everything
W J=eV8Uk in life to have a cherry on top for it to be appetising.

V8`t7[r polite and well mannered to try and force itself upon your

O|?> rK comment to say that the omnipresent sugar coating will suit

wb.47S8 of fire and even some unpredictability would have been
!m' lOz welcome. Then again, the Bluesbunny was always a quadruple
