&] High Places' self-titled debut was recorded by the band's Rob
V-x/lo]Co Barber and Mary Pearson in their apartment in Brooklyn's Fort
U(5 Y g Greene neighborhood. They employed a wide variety of
Ue(\-b\) instruments to make this album, ranging from the more

p traditional: 12 string guitar, banjo, shakers and rattles,
`u$lSGl bass, bells and Kalimba; to the inventive: plastic bags,
MS;^@>|wj mixing bowls, wood blocks and other common household objects.

_:HQ4s@ emphasized by the themes of goodness manifested in nature,
aRcVoOq hardship and wonder as necessities to human existence and
