Now after a full decade of global prominence, Twista is unleashing album 10 years in the making: Adrenaline Rush 2007. Make no mistake, 2007 is a statement piece. It provides the canvas for Twista’s broad musical palate, born of his mature understanding of, and dedication to, hip-hop. Adrenaline Rush 2007 spans the gap aptly, ranging from the requisite radio fare to unexpectedly sinister, savage spit-fests Trappers’ Delight with Jazze Pha and Cee-Lo is an overt nod to the seminal Sugarhill Gang single of 1979.
