2005年Editors发行了首张专辑《The Back Room》，为当时英国摇滚乐打了一针强心剂。使得当时英国的复古音乐浪潮回锅热式音乐运动更加旺盛与强劲许多。当时的AMG，NME，DiS(Drowned in Sound)等均给Editors开绿灯，给了很高的评价。出道时变伴随着与美国的Interpol想提并论，因为俩只乐队的都是受着后朋先辈乐队Joy Division的影响，但Editors的Tom Smith，同时还因为Britpop运动影响了自己的音乐理念与意志。今年6月25号Editors将发行他们的第二张专辑《 An End Has A Start》，专辑封面依然那样简单而不失艺术性。去年的他们很辛苦，一直太制作新专辑，直到圣诞节前还一直在忙碌着，但他们又想在圣诞节前就把整张专辑制作完，然后好好的享受节日的快乐，但他们又没有拿出更好的灵感与想法，主唱Tom Smith介绍采访时说，“我们希望早些结束，但我们又不想不负责任，希望在圣诞节时我们喝酒时能够得到好的灵感。”所以这张专辑拖到了现在，不过也好，因为好事多磨。第一只单曲“Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors”将在6月18号发行，强劲的旋律，犀利的歌词让人大呼过瘾。随着单曲CD发行附带一首“An Eye For An Eye”，而这张单曲的Limited版本B面将带一首“The Picture”，过几天去搜搜这俩首歌曲。整整10首歌曲的专辑，相信又是一张令人激动的乐章.(转自水手的soulpower) t>JPK_b0
