eF[63zx5* bitterness in his words. Funnily enough, the rather twee "The
!vG'J\*xc Toothbrush Song" would also make a quality country song due to

1g 6 its dry lyrics even if a cowboy would feel the need to
(`y*V;o4 accompany such emotions with bourbon rather than sparkling

nKhI laidback vocal delivery with some spirited guitar. Loves lost
/_ `lz^ and won (mostly lost though? and a sense of reflection on his
6Cn+e.j@ younger years seem a common theme to the songs in this album

#?=I5 and, indeed, regret is once more evident in "Is It Too Late to
^tXJj:wtS Work for NASA" even if it is disguised here with wry humour.
G "73= 8d If Bluesbunny closes his eyes, on "Mystery Star" Ally Kerr
ULQMG'P^D seems to transform himself into Edinburgh master popsters

% LJ s If Bluesbunny had to pick a favourite track, it would probably
F7Zwh5W be "Amorino" evoking, as it does, the melancholic pleasures of

Kn* The thing that impresses most about this album is the songs
*8LMn themselves. Well crafted and melodic with sharp and observant
b,C aWg lyrics, they are however presented as a whole lot fluffier
)kP5u`v than they actually are. It must be Ally Kerr's choice to do so
Yl3n2R /U but it does seem that he is deliberately avoiding giving any
p\<u6v ~
J kind of offense. Maybe he never gets angry himself - although
|o\8 his words suggest otherwise -but Bluesbunny feels that he is
qzT uxo0B doing his own songs a disservice here by sprinkling an inch of

bM\ icing sugar on everything. It is not necessary for everything
qTqwPWW* in life to have a cherry on top for it to be appetising.
