intelligent and catchy songs. "I Think I'm Bleeding" has an 4j/iG\  
underlying country flavour to it. Whilst once again presented !G"9 xrr1  
as a happy little song, there is more than a touch of s{z~Axup-  
bitterness in his words. Funnily enough, the rather twee "The Q+!
0)pG5#  
Toothbrush Song" would also make a quality country song due to _D2bGZN  
its dry lyrics even if a cowboy would feel the need to n:bB$Ai2  
accompany such emotions with bourbon rather than sparkling [6_Du6\h  
mineral water. -

The pace picks up with the title track "Off the Radar" that lA.;ZD!  
truly highlights Mr Kerr's pop sensibilities and offsets his aO^:dl5  
laidback vocal delivery with some spirited guitar. Loves lost wSJ]3gJM`  
and won (mostly lost though? and a sense of reflection on his %7(kP}y*  
younger years seem a common theme to the songs in this album >NH4A_  
and, indeed, regret is once more evident in "Is It Too Late to >: W-C{%  
Work for NASA" even if it is disguised here with wry humour. 4QjWZ Wl  
If Bluesbunny closes his eyes, on "Mystery Star" Ally Kerr [C+Gmu  
seems to transform himself into Edinburgh master popsters ?lc[hH  
Dropkick and there are certainly worse things to be than that. r}y[r}vk  
If Bluesbunny had to pick a favourite track, it would probably V@f 6Lj  
be "Amorino" evoking, as it does, the melancholic pleasures of N7~)qqb

The thing that impresses most about this album is the songs RhV:Z3f`6  
themselves. Well crafted and melodic with sharp and observant &G pA1  
lyrics, they are however presented as a whole lot fluffier ( *9I

than they actually are. It must be Ally Kerr's choice to do so M)`HK .  
but it does seem that he is deliberately avoiding giving any U7]<U-.&  
kind of offense. Maybe he never gets angry himself - although }dd k}wga  
his words suggest otherwise -but Bluesbunny feels that he is sk7rU+<  
doing his own songs a disservice here by sprinkling an inch of W<rTq0~$?  
icing sugar on everything. It is not necessary for everything $@_<$t  
in life to have a cherry on top for it to be appetising. G+hF [b44'

Overall, this is a happy, upbeat album that is just a bit too iBKb/Oi6  
polite and well mannered to try and force itself upon your f E.L  
affections. The production and arrangements are smoother than s,$Z( "B  
your average Starbuck's decaf latte but it is perhaps fair WG8iTVwx  
comment to say that the omnipresent sugar coating will suit y7M:b Uh  
his fans. However, and maybe this is a reviewer thing, a bit CrNwALx  
of fire and even some unpredictability would have been `\/toddUh[  
welcome. Then again, the Bluesbunny was always a quadruple Y(hW(bd;
