"Get Up" is a clap-along funk-pop opener that features Smith doing his best Jason Mraz impression.

"Breakdown" offers more typical pop fare for those who long for the standard radio sound, but Smith still delivers even when avoiding his New Orleans background.

"Can't Save Your Soul" and "Make Me Move" bring a groove that Barnes featured so well on Chasing Mississippi. Comparisons to Mayer are found throughout with a musicianship that rises above the norm, featuring a singer/songwriter type who is clearly in a class by himself. Just as Mayer is a musician's musician who uses the pop charts to showcase his immense talents, Smith largely stands the same way on the piano.
