intelligent and catchy songs. "I Think I'm Bleeding" has an E8ta|D  
underlying country flavour to it. Whilst once again presented nn +_TMu  
as a happy little song, there is more than a touch of u#@RM^738d  
bitterness in his words. Funnily enough, the rather twee "The 2z\e
\I  
Toothbrush Song" would also make a quality country song due to MG

its dry lyrics even if a cowboy would feel the need to I-DXb M  
accompany such emotions with bourbon rather than sparkling $=)gpPT

The pace picks up with the title track "Off the Radar" that v+xB7w  
truly highlights Mr Kerr's pop sensibilities and offsets his '#.#$8l  
laidback vocal delivery with some spirited guitar. Loves lost "g0(I8  
and won (mostly lost though? and a sense of reflection on his 0 ipN8P g+  
younger years seem a common theme to the songs in this album Hr^3`@}#1  
and, indeed, regret is once more evident in "Is It Too Late to *z8|P#@  
Work for NASA" even if it is disguised here with wry humour. 0^3+P%(o@  
If Bluesbunny closes his eyes, on "Mystery Star" Ally Kerr \~~}N4  
seems to transform himself into Edinburgh master popsters sILSey5`  
Dropkick and there are certainly worse things to be than that. ]{GDS! )  
If Bluesbunny had to pick a favourite track, it would probably #+k*1Jg  
be "Amorino" evoking, as it does, the melancholic pleasures of ~TqT}:,H

The thing that impresses most about this album is the songs -1u9t4+`  
themselves. Well crafted and melodic with sharp and observant >/=>B7  
lyrics, they are however presented as a whole lot fluffier kXrlSaIc  
than they actually are. It must be Ally Kerr's choice to do so G8J*Wnwu[K  
but it does seem that he is deliberately avoiding giving any z~{&}Em ~  
kind of offense. Maybe he never gets angry himself - although t9cl"

Overall, this is a happy, upbeat album that is just a bit too i'#Gy,R

affections. The production and arrangements are smoother than n, i'Dhzk

comment to say that the omnipresent sugar coating will suit D5,P)[  
his fans. However, and maybe this is a reviewer thing, a bit EYX$pz(x;  
of fire and even some unpredictability would have been UVQ7L9%?f
